How Carter’s, Inc. Supported Hannah Through Foster Care Adoption

Posted on June 12, 2024

Hannah, Senior Director of Ecommerce Site Merchandising at Carter’s, Inc., opened her home as a foster parent to Hayden. After fostering him for a year, Hannah adopted Hayden when he was 3 years old.

The stability of a permanent family provided Hayden with the support and love he needed to thrive.

Hannah describes Hayden as “adventurous, brave, curious, kind, smart and funny.” He is surrounded by a community who loves and supports him, including his family of origin, church family, teachers and coaches.

“I’m very grateful to Carter’s, Inc. for providing both foster care and adoption assistance as part of our employee benefits package,” said Hannah.

Hannah felt supported by her employer’s benefits and her colleagues.

“Rather than a typical baby shower to celebrate his arrival, my colleagues welcomed Hayden to the Carter’s family with a large ‘adoption party’ complete, with all his favorite foods, silly games and loads of special books to build his home library,” said Hannah.

Congratulations, Carter’s, Inc., for being recognized as a 2024 Adoption Advocate and making stories like Hannah and Hayden’s possible.
